Welcome to my website

πŸ‘‹ Hello, I am Toni Rodon, Associate Professor of Political Science at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Catalonia) and Delegate for Knowledge Transfer in Social Sciences and Humanities at UPF.

On this website you will find information about my research projects, publications, teaching and other academic activities that I am passionate about.

✨ You can explore the menu or simply scroll down πŸ‘‡ to learn more. Happy reading!

Feel free to navigate through my Publications. You will find articles on political behaviour, comparative politics or historical political economy, among others.

Discover my Research Projects where I collaborate with amazing colleagues.

Several of these projects have produced new Datasets, which are openly available to the research community.

In the context of the VEARLYDEM PROJECT, we will soon release a dataset on the election results (municipality-level) during the Spanish Second Republic (1931-1936). Stay tuned!

One of my passions is mapping. Check out on the right one of the first maps I made, which shows the spatial distribution of civic associations, factories and religious associations in Barcelona before the Second Republic.

You will also find some cool visualisations summarising our research. For instance, you can enjoy the scrollytelling we created for our female suffrage article.
